Do you know who is behind the singing voice of Disney's Lion King 2: Simba's Pride as the young Princess Kiara?

It is none other than Charity Grace Bueno a hidden gem of the pop music world now coming out to make her official debut.


Charity was born in Seattle, Washington, USA to a Filipina mother and started singing at the age of 18 months old. Her first musical solo was at the age of two years old at a church service. By the time she was 11 years old this Filipino-American talent was known as a multi-faceted, world class performer.


The song "We Are One" she sang as duet with Cam Clarke from the Lion King 2 is famous worldwide and has at least 1 million views on Youtube. As a singer she had performed solos for countless concerts sometimes in front of crowds up to tens of thousands of people like in the Philippine's 100 year independence day anniversary special on ABS-CBN TV.  She was the lead role of "Annie" for Repertory Philippines musical theater show Annie  (similar to Philippine Broadway) originated 20 years before by the famous Tony award winning actress Lea Salonga. The newspapers hailed her as the "next Lea Salonga."

Charity's crystal clear singing voice can also be heard on the Disney Sing-a-longs: Mulan- Honor To Us All. As an actress and model Charity starred in TV commercials and photoshoots for companies such as McDonalds, Barbie and Macys.

Some of Charity's early musical influences were Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.  Her favorite musical influences today include Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Tori Kelly, and Taya Smith.  This luscious mash-up of styles gives Charity a pop music feel with a touch of R&B, soul and lots of heart.

In January 2017 Charity officially started to sing in a duo called "The Buenos" with her better half Vincent Bueno.  They have performed concerts together at places like the ORF Radio Wien Club concert with Vincent's stellar band called the "Suitcase Band."  The Buenos music is influenced by the latest top hits in pop music and beloved duos like Us the Duo.

When Vince comes to the stage he brings his all.  Dancing, singing, performing and getting crowd participation is his forte. Charity has the rare ability to touch the hearts of her audience with her charm and storytelling in her singing.  This is just a part of what makes "The Buenos" stand out as a new, unique performing musical duo.
